Honeymoon Series: Victoria and Alberts Dinner

One of the biggest debates leading up to the honeymoon was if it was worth dining at Walt Disney World’s Victoria and Alberts. Victoria and Alberts has the freshest of the fresh and imports ingredients from all over the world. It’s a 7 course pre-fix meal with 6 choices to make. They even offer a wine pairing option that give you 6 wonderful wines with your meal.

After Trey gave me the ultimatum of “Well, what’s worth more to you, iPhone 6 Plus or Victoria and Alberts?” because they were about the same price, I decided “why not both!”

So we made the plans and I booked the reservation for the dinner of a lifetime.

The morning after the wedding, we left around 8:30am to head to Orlando. We made it in time to park (yay complimentary valet with V&A) and take the boat to Magic Kingdom to take a picture in front of the castle. We quickly made it back to Grand Floridian in time to change for dinner.

Once at the restaurant they sat us down, offered to take our bags, and handed us our personalized menus for the evening.  The menus were so sweet saying “Congratulations on Your Marriage”. The servers came, introduced themselves, and offered us water from several different countries and styles. This is when I knew that it was going to be an interesting dinner.

The food was delicious. There was not one dish I didn’t enjoy, and Trey and I almost had every dish different (there was one course that we only liked one option but we got something different for every other one).

In the end, we are SO excited that we decided to do the dinner. It’s one of our favorite things about the honeymoon. We figured that this is the one time we can milk it for all it’s worth and when we go back with (way in the future) kids we sure do not want to pay $130 for each kid to hardly eat any of the food.
